FYI, The two new vets Dr Ness hired are terrific ! Dr Antonisi is another Dr Ness and you wouldn't know Dr Golan just graduated last year. They both are working together to get my two birds well.

I forgot to thank Dr. Antonicic for stitching up my glider. He did a wonderful job and she healed PERFECTLY! The only vets I really trust with my gliders in the Chicago Area. THX!

I highly recommend Dr. Ness and his friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff. My guinea pig developed a hormone imbalance that kept her in heat for going on six weeks. She was very uncomfortable. The first vet I took her to just got a funny smile on her face and basically said "That's life". I overheard the second vet talking to his assistant in the hallway about my pig. He said: "What's he expect me to do about it? It's not like there's a magic pill I can give her". When I took her to Dr. Ness, he heard my story and then immediately said: I'll give her a shot of hormone xyz. That should get her back in balance. If it doesn't totally do the trick, I'll give her a follow-up shot in a week. Sure enough, in just a few days Maggie was back to normal, and has been fine ever since. When you need a specialist who really knows their stuff, definitely consider Ness Exotic.

When I saw I had become the Duchess of Ness Exotic for checking in here so many times, I had to laugh. I think we can all agree that it's never a goal to be at a vet's office a lot (unless you work there, of course). But if I had to spend a lot of time at a vet's office, I'm glad it was this one. My Fitzi Bunny was having a terrible time with mucoid enteritis. Dr. Ness spent lots of time with her figuring out exactly what was causing her troubles. He's thorough, caring and obviously very passionate about what he does. He really won me over when he got down on the floor with Fitzi - on her level - and spent a good 10 minutes giving her a tummy massage.

Fitzi wound up being hospitalized there twice, and both times I also had the pleasure of speaking with his vet techs on a regular basis when I called to check in on my little lady. They're just as great as he is and even called me whenever a new milestone was reached. I really appreciate that there are people who care just as much about bunnies as I do! My Paddington Bunny was also treated a few months ago by Dr. Antonicic. He's just as thorough and caring as Dr. Ness. Overall, this is just a hands-down exceptional vet's office! I just hope I don't have to visit them again too soon!

Dr. Ness is wonderful and I wish I had found him sooner. Both he and his staff were very caring and professional. Every appointment we had we were seen right on time and he spent a lot of time with us. He called me back within 10 minutes on every message I left for him and some days I talked to him 3-4 times a day. He did everything possible for my baby bunny and I am so grateful she spent her last months in his care. She actually looked relaxed and content during the appointments and would try to nudge Dr. Ness or start grooming in middle of the exam table! I could never thank him enough for everything he's done for us. It was the best care my furbaby could have received.

Before we were referred here we had gone through so many different veterinarians for our ferrets. We love how knowledgeable Dr. Ness and the staff is; combining compassion, care, knowledge, and reasonable prices- truly a winning combination.

This a great place to take all kinds of animals. I am so glad that they are now seeing dogs for regular care. Dr. Antonicic has been our family's vet for many years. We followed him to Ness when he started working there. He is very kind, caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. He has gone out of his way to take good care of all our animals. This is a great place!!!!!!

Dr. Ness and group are very knowledgeable with Sugar Gliders! Not many vets in the Chicago Area are! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THEM! Would Highly recommend to anyone that owns a glider!

I met Dr. Jim Antonicic yesterday, when my dog Riley was feeling very under the weather lately, throwing up/green poop, stinky ears...yes, you name it and Riley was feeling it. I called and brought him in and Dr. Jim was wonderful with me and Riley. He showed me how to clean his ears, gave Riley TLC and I walked out feeling better. So did Riley!

Dr. Jim is wonderful and Riley was not afraid or shivering like he usually does at the VET....I will always bring Riley to Dr. Jim! Thank you!

I love Ness Exotic! Dr. Ness is WONDERFUL with animals and very kind and thorough to their owners. No question of mine goes unanswered or unexplained. I had a chronically sick guinea pig and her care was pretty out of the ordinary, and Dr. Ness was great at trying to problem-solve her case, and she lived much longer and more comfortably than her illness would normally have allowed. I would implicitly trust Dr. Ness and his staff with any critter.

Started going to Dr Ness in '91 when he just got out of school. Only had a bunny that he made famous by doing the 1st abdominal surgery done on a bunny and he lived! Dr Nye assisted.Harvey had a huge blockage in stomach and colon. Then came the birds. He's just as good with them. Miss Dr McDonald being there. These people are family to us.

I love Ness Exotic! I think Dr. Ness is fantastic, and his staff is so warm and welcoming. I trust them implicitly, as do my other exotic pet-owning friends, and we all work at Chicago's zoos, so that should tell you something. Ness Exotic is hands-down fantastic.
