Personal Biography
Born and raised in Westmont and always drawn to small animal medicine, Dr. Antonicic has practiced in the western suburbs of Chicago for the past 16 years. While working in clinics that regularly treated dogs and cats in addition to exotic pets, he has always been enthusiastic about avian and exotics. Since graduating from veterinary school, he has continued to expand his knowledge and skills in exotic care.
In addition to medicine and surgery, Dr. Antonicic has been actively honing his skills in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided biopsy techniques. He joined Ness Exotic and Wellness Center in 2010, and is excited to both focus on the care of exotics, as well as expand his skills into the realm of holistic care.
When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Antonicic spends his time traveling the globe, reading for
pleasure, and learning the Argentine tango. If you spot any cat hair on his pants, it’s from the three felines at home to which he is indentured.
